WHAT AI CAN'T DO?
What Do You Aall A Mechanical System Mimicking Human Conversation?
Would you call it an AI system?
By definition, Artificial intelligence (AI) is a technology that uses algorithms, computers, or robots to simulate human intelligence. AI can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as learning and problem-solving.
How can one be sure if Artificial intelligence is really an intelligence and not a mimicking system running on static rules/values that can't think out of the variables programmed inside it?
BUT
Can we call the thinking abilities in a biological form intelligence? Isn't it the same as a mechanical system with only a difference of memory pockets and connections via hard-soldered wires?
Even then, no matter how advanced the development gets, we can never compete a human intelligence with AI as AI's formation is entirely based on the present human conversations and decisions only and the present/past data availability.
Only if a system were to be designed or developed by some entity more advanced than humans could make that system far ahead of humans but not the one made by humans only.
We see a current trend of diving into the AI response systems i.e. Chat Bot - GPT. Which gives a full-length answer to any of your queries just like humans do. Without errors.
We shouldn't be scared but excited to welcome the tending AI systems across multiple fields of work nowadays where human beings can't walk through without mistakes. This is about things that require productivity and support. We are talking about healthcare sectors, agriculture, etc., where automation, hard work, and maximum precision are required with minimum to zero scope of error. Areas like these can be handed over to such systems running on full-fledged AI machines.
But this is very unfortunate that we are enjoying the artificial creativity of such AI systems i.e. DALL-E 2, Craiyon, etc. How can we even call it creative when every algorithm is only to mimic what humans/scientists/engineers have fed to the system to work?
CONCLUSION:
With all this, we can conclude that no matter how much effort we make to give birth to another human-like intelligence, we can never have one which is similar to a paradox where any intelligent system can not create something more intelligent out of resources and data available but it can create something more primitive which can never surpass the intelligence of its creator.

To a certain extent all this sounds very funny , because all intelligence created by human beings will reach the point of origin itself .
ReplyDeleteSo only human reason can be substituted but never the sensibility of a real human being.
Although to some extent I always find the fun of it all . That's life .….23
