I still remember that day at my workplace when I heard the news about the outbreak of Coronavirus and the first cases in China. We all literally had a big laugh thinking "Yes! It was of course China".

The first case recorded globally was in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. During that time, no one expected that soon, the world would experience an epic doomsday movie in real life.

Corona Virus Pandemic

Days passed since the first case of corona appeared in our news. Everything seemed easy here in India, office fun, jokes, and the daily normal life. Who could imagine that such normalcy was about to vanish?

It Could Never Be More Stressful

After a few months, the tension rose, and soon it all became a reality. We were all advised to work from home. People lost jobs, struggled to meet basic needs, and the world plunged into chaos. Some of us felt this was just a bad dream, but it wasn’t.

Coming Back to the Lockdown...

The first day of lockdown felt like a struggle. Everyone was fighting to gather food and essentials, while governments tried to maintain order. The lockdown was a challenge, and even transportation faced hurdles.

Life struggle during the first lockdown day

Thankfully, we had kind shopkeepers, but survival is more than just kindness. The struggle was real. Companies rushed to deliver laptops to workers, but even transportation was a challenge during lockdowns.

Life Wasn't Easy...

Human beings are social creatures. Isolating them leads to psychological effects. The limited supplies and the feeling of being trapped were overwhelming. Those who depend on daily work, like travelers, faced even greater hardships.

The World Began to Learn

After a year, the situation slowly started to improve. The world, which once seemed like a nightmare, started returning to normal. Face-to-face interactions, handshakes, jokes, and work fun became precious memories.

The world learned a lesson

In the end, the world learned a lesson. At least some of us did.
